Y2P | Year 2 Program For Alumni

Learning is a lifelong process. It isn’t over when you complete a course or degree.

The next step after completing a long term program is to spend a significant amount of time in the field. This does not need to be a formal course. For the benefit of our alumni, we help to organize powerful field-based experiences where they can continue to learn and grow.

We currently help to organize two different types of alumni programs: wilderness trips and the primitive wilderness living practicum. In order to simplify travel, we schedule these back to back. For dates, see our Master Calendar.

In order to keep them free, they don’t take place at the field school, nor is there an instructor present. We do help to organize them, and help to facilitate gear (helping you find what you need), shuttles, travel, vehicle storage, etc.

We also help with designing the experience so it’s focused on continued learning and growth.

Anything that appears to be an error in spelling or grammar is actually the author’s clever use of the vernacular, and as such is not an error, but rather a carefully placed literary device demonstrating prodigious artistic prowess.
