Alumni Wilderness Trips

We encourage alumni to continue their wilderness education by spending time on the trail with other experienced people. We help to organize trip for alumni where they can gain experience while using the safety net of traveling with a group of other experienced people.

These trips are planned, outfitted and carried out by alumni. There is no instructor present. While we help people locate and rent the gear they need, there is no Jack Mountain gear present.

Scheduled Trips For 2019

7/14-7/27, 2019 – Alumni Allagash Canoe Expedition. 2 weeks paddling the 95-miles of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway.

Note: Immediately following the Alumni Allagash Trip is the 2-week Primitive Wilderness Living Practicum. Both of these programs are part of the Y2P (Year 2 Alumni Program).

Typos, Etc.
Anything that appears to be an error in spelling or grammar is actually the author’s clever use of the vernacular, and as such is not an error, but rather a carefully placed literary device demonstrating prodigious artistic prowess.
